Chicago Public Library – Rogers Park branch

The Rogers Park Women’s Club established Rogers Park Branch in 1894 on Clark Street. The club’s members donated books and served as volunteer librarians. The branch opened in its current location on June 8, 1999.

Staff is consistently helpful and conscientious. Library collections are updated frequently and I often select books off the new shelf simply because the titles are interesting. For books not in the local collection, I find it super helpful to request books and have them delivered to the branch. I very much appreciate having a great local library branch.
